Actors on Actors | Gugu Mbatha-Raw & Oscar Issac

In the latest episode of Variety Magazine’s Actors on Actors, two actors having extraordinary years, the beautiful Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Oscar Issac sat down to discuss their craft.

Nominated for her performances in both Belle and Beyond the Lights (The British Independent Film Awards and The Gotham Independent Spirit Awards), the British stage and film actress electrified audiences with her 180 degree turns as a illegitimate, mixed-race daughter growing up in a stifling British aristocracy and as a video vixen who longs to find her own voice.

Meanwhile, Isaac followed up his strong performance as a folk singer in Inside Llewyn Davis with his turn as the head of a heating trucking company under siege in A Most Violent Year, channeling a young Al Pacino in the film.
